Deloitte Legal advises Endurance Overseas s.r.l. on the acquisition of Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH

An international multi-disciplinary and multi-location Deloitte team led by Frankfurt-based Deloitte Legal Corporate/M&A Partner Marc Oliver Stock advised Endurance Overseas s.r.l. (Endurance) on the acquisition of majority participations in Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH. Commercial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to clearance by several antitrust authorities.

Endurance, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Endurance Technologies Limited, is the worldwide technological leader in transmission, suspension and brake systems for the 2 wheelers industry. In the 4 wheelers sector, Endurance focusses on light and heavy commercial vehicles and the production of aluminum, iron casting steel and plastic components. The main geographical areas in which the Endurance Group is active are India and EMEA, with the EMEA operations being managed by Endurance. With the acquisition of majority participations in Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH, Endurance intends to further intensify its presence in the automotive sector.

Utilizing its more than 30 years of experience, Stöferle GmbH as well as Stöferle Automotive GmbH offer customized solutions for the economical and fast production of medium and large series in light metal processing, focusing on the production of engine and transmission components for automobiles. With over 200 employees, the companies operate their businesses on a total area of around 16,000 square meters.

Deloitte provided extensive transaction support to Endurance, covering virtually all aspects of the transaction.
