Deloitte Legal advises Patrimonium on investment in Netzlink

Patrimonium Private Equity and Wille Finance AG, both based in Switzerland, have acquired a majority stake in the IT company Netzlink Informationstechnik GmbH, based in Braunschweig, Germany. This investment also includes the subsidiary GROUPLINK GmbH and the joint venture Netzlink Polska sp. Z o.o. based in Gdansk, Poland. The previous owners, Harald Lies and Sven-Ove Wähling, remain strong shareholders through a reinvestment and continue to run the company as managing directors.

Under the umbrella of a newly founded holding company (GROUPLINK Holding GmbH), the group is to grow both organically and through further national and international acquisitions in the coming years. The new partners Patrimonium and Wille will support such growth with their extensive know-how in the software and IT industry as well as their experience in the successful implementation of acquisition strategies.

Patrimonium is part of Patrimonium Asset Management AG, a Swiss private market investment manager that operates in the asset classes real estate, private debt, private equity and infrastructure.

Wille Finance AG is a family office founded in 2007, that invests, in particular, in growth companies with a focus on software and life science, real estate, digital media and listed companies.

Patrimonium relied for the first time on the transaction team led by the experienced Dr. Harald Stang. Deloitte Legal was also able to advise on the financing of the transaction through Arne Wittig. Wittig joined Deloitte Legal in 2021 as a partner in the Banking & Finance practice and had previously been Group General Counsel at thyssenkrupp for many years.
