Deloitte advises Teijin Frontier on acquisition of Ziegler Group from DPE Deutsche Private Equity

A multidisciplinary international Deloitte Team has advised Japanese Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. on the acquisition of J.H. Ziegler GmbH from German DPE Deutsche Private Equity. The German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) has recently granted the requisite antitrust clearance for the transaction.

Teijin Frontier is a component of the Japanese chemicals and pharmaceuticals group Teijin, which generates an annual global turnover equivalent to approximately EUR 6 billion, with a staff of around 20,000 employees. Teijin is listed on the Tokyo stock exchange (TSE: 3041).

Ziegler Group is a leading manufacturer of laminated products for car seats and acoustic absorbers for vehicle interiors; the group is expected to generate EUR 75 million+ in revenues in 2018 and employs more than 400 employees, mainly in Germany, Hungary and China.
