Marcus Spangenberger is Senior Associate and joined Deloitte Legal in October 2021. He is a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. His responsibilities include providing forensic and advisory services to companies and insolvency administrators in the areas of insolvency and corporate law.
The focus of his work is on the restructuring and continuation of companies in protective shield and self-administration proceedings as well as insolvency-related legal advice to managing directors, shareholders, supervisory boards and creditors. In addition, Marcus Spangenberger has special industry experience in retail and automotive.
Before joining Deloitte, Mr Spangenberger worked for several years at leading law firms in the field of reorganisation and restructuring.
Marcus Spangenberger is a founding member of the Düsseldorfer Kreis für Transformation und Restrukturierung e.V. and a member of the HSG Alumni.
Marcus Spangenberger wrote his Master's thesis on capital markets law.
