Sanjay Gupta

Sanjay Gupta is a Partner and Consulting Lead for Banking and Capital Markets Sector. He also leads FS Tech and Operate for Deloitte South Asia. Additionally, Sanjay leads the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) segment for the Financial Services Industry in South Asia.

Sanjay comes with over 28 years of experience in sales leadership, P&L management, industry leadership, practice building, technology consulting, and program management. He acquired and managed large clients and contracts whilst building trust with his expertise in consulting, implementation, operation, management services, system integration, application, technology, and infrastructure space.

Sanjay has extensively worked with Indian Financial Services clients in the last 23 years of his career. He has in-depth knowledge of this sector and has experience of multiple complex transformation engagements. He has also worked in other sectors, such as telecommunications, energy and resources, automotive, and consumer and retail, aside from the government sector.

In addition, he has experience of large multi-year contracts in the managed services space covering several domains and across the technology landscape across sectors. Apart from the Indian market, Sanjay also has the experience of engaging with clients in other territories, such as ASEAN and Africa.
