Deloitte Legal integrates in2law into its own network
Redefined the market of legal consulting
in2Law is an innovative start-up that revolutionizes the traditional paradigms of the legal sector by applying a model that focuses on flexibility for clients and professionals
19 July 2018 - Deloitte Legal has announced the integration into its own network of in2law, an innovative start-up in the world of legal consulting that has redefined the relationship between companies and legal professionals, facilitating the introduction of key skills into business processes.
in2law was founded in 2016 by Sibilla Ricciardi - 15 years' experience as General Counsel of Microsoft - and Marco Pietrabissa - an entrepreneur in the human resources sector - and today has 25 senior professionals, clients beyond national borders and a significant growth rate.
Easy customer access, immediate integration of in2law professionals into the company for the time or tasks required, transparency in cost management and use of language and tools that help to ensure maximum awareness of legal risk management are the key points of in2law's offer.
in2law offers to general counsels or heads of legal departments with structured legal functions a business partner with legal acumen that can support them in their daily choices, in the growth of their activities or in the management of critical situations, with easy access to external legal experts, where necessary. To managing directors, administrative or financial managers of small and medium enterprises or start-ups, in2law provides the expertise of a general counsel, in an efficient and transparent manner, through experienced professionals, who represent the tip of the iceberg of a solid, reliable and international organization.
The in2lawyers have embraced a different way of work, with a perfect balance between an high-profile career and personal life, to offer in-house services according to their clients' specific needs.
The integration of in2law is part of the growth strategy of Deloitte Legal, which focuses on customer needs, people and innovation. Deloitte Legal, aware of the fact that in-house services will represent an increasing part of the legal business, has identified in2law as the company to seize this opportunity with, activating two clearly distinct but highly synergetic models that coexist in a single context.
"Today we have taken a decisive step on the road to redefining the market for legal services, in the knowledge that we are only at the beginning of a change that will take place in a time horizon that is still uncertain but that will lead to a radical transformation in the profession and in the way it is exercised. With this operation, as well as wanting to provide companies with an agile tool that gives reliable, quick and clear answers, we launch a real cultural challenge: to professionals, to direct them towards a more strategic vision of legal discipline; to companies, to encourage the enrichment of the decision-making process in all areas of the company with access to legal knowledge from the early stages of business, avoiding late and often, therefore, not decisive interventions" said Carlo Gagliardi, Managing Partner of Deloitte Legal.
“The keyword of our innovative business model is "flexibility"; flexibility not only for customers, who can avail themselves of the skills of a highly qualified professional only for the time necessary but, above all, for our professionals who can easily reconcile work and private life - confirms Sibilla Ricciardi, Co-Founder and CEO of in2law - in2law is a highly valued company in which services for customers pass from sharing, from the centrality of people and organizational well-being”.
“We are proud that Deloitte Legal has chosen our reality to meet the challenges posed by a rapidly changing environment and meet the needs of clients for a completely innovative service to complement the legal advice offered by the Firm - added Marco Pietrabissa, Co-Founder and COO of in2law - We have intercepted a new need for the Italian market and given a unique response with the law as a service model, a choice that meets the needs of the client in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.”.
