Deloitte launches solution enabling organisations to bridge SAP® software for human capital management to the cloud

New AccessEdge™ platform is a cloud-like solution that improves usability and mobility for on-premise SAP human capital management solutions.

New York, October 21, 2015—While 30 percent of executives surveyed in a recent Deloitte report indicated they have or are in the process of replacing HR technology with integrated cloud-based systems, 42 percent are still planning the transition or are in the consideration phase. Responding to this measured pace in the move to the cloud for HR, Deloitte developed the AccessEdge solution designed to improve the user experience of existing on-premise human capital management (HCM) applications from SAP and to provide the functionality, look and feel of a cloud-based application.

By improving the user experience, AccessEdge can reduce service center workload while freeing HR professionals to focus on more strategic priorities, such as learning and recruiting.

Designed to be quick to deploy and easy to implement, the solution enables a unified launch pad and integration across HCM software from SAP, including SAP® SuccessFactors® solutions. In doing so, it offers organizations the ability to adopt a hybrid-cloud approach immediately or to fully transition to cloud-based SAP HR applications over time.

The solution leverages the improved user experience of SAP Fiori®, as well as Deloitte’s years of experience in human capital processes and technologies.
