Charles Mizzi – Chief Executive Officer, Malta Gaming Authority

Charles is the Chief Executive Officer at the MGA. He joined the MGA following a 5-year tenure at the helm of the Residency Malta Agency. There, he led the organisation towards its goal of ensuring that Malta is one of the most reputable and desirable residencies by investment jurisdictions. He has extensive experience in operations management and a background in marketing, communications and events at a national level. He holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Henley Business School and is a dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive experience in operations management.

His previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Pariplay, Managing Director of NetEnt, as well as key commercial roles at Kodak and Dell. Enrico holds a MMechEng from the University of Trieste and an MBA from INSEAD.Enrico Bradamante's vision and strategic guidance have helped iGEN forge partnerships with key players in the industry and drive positive change in the environments where iGaming companies operate.

Enrico Bradamante - Chairman, iGEN

Enrico Bradamante is the founder and Chairman of iGEN (iGaming Executives Network), a position he has held since June 2018. With over 5 years experience in this role, Enrico Bradamante has been instrumental in shaping the direction and initiatives of iGEN, an association dedicated to representing and promoting the interests of iGaming companies. Enrico Bradamante's vision and strategic guidance have helped iGEN forge partnerships with key players in the industry and drive positive change in the environments where iGaming companies operate.

His previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Pariplay, Managing Director of NetEnt, as well as key commercial roles at Kodak and Dell. Liesbeth Oost - Head of ESG at JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group

Liesbeth Oost is the Head of ESG at JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group, a commercial market leader that operates 87 land-based casinos across the Netherlands and a thriving iGaming brand.

With a strong focus on responsible gaming, Liesbeth leads the development and implementation of the ESG strategy, placing sustainability at the core of the organisation's activities. 

She holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Groningen and is a Certified Investor Relations professional (CIR®).

Prior to her career in the private sector focused on ESG, Liesbeth held various positions at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This multifaceted experience granted her valuable insights into the profound alignment between public and private sector objectives, as well as the societal impact of corporations, with a particular emphasis on ESG considerations.

Jonna Danlund – Head of Sustainability, Betsson Group

Jonna Danlund has over 20 years of experience of working with communication and sustainability in large public institutions and private companies across the world. As Head of Sustainability at Betsson, she is responsible for driving the sustainability agenda forward, in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Global Compact and the Group’s own Sustainability framework. The framework specifies focus areas, goals and KPIs for Betsson’s ESG efforts and highlights Responsible Gaming as the cornerstone of the company’s business, and crucial for building long-term and sustainable customer relationships. Jonna is also heading up Betsson’s ESG reporting in line with international standards such as CSRD and GRI.

 

Marc Alden - CEO, Deloitte Malta

Marc is the Chief Executive of Deloitte in Malta and is responsible for its strategic direction, delivering value to clients and making an impact in the community.

Marc’s career with Deloitte spans over 20 years, practicing principally in the field of taxation. He has worked with clients across a number of industry sectors, advising on their cross border transactions and operations. Marc has been a Director at Deloitte since 2004, during which time he led Deloitte Malta's Tax Business for a period of six years. Marc continues to be responsible for leading significant client relationships and engaging with stakeholders. Marc is also a member of the executive committee of Deloitte Central Mediterranean.

Michael Bianchi – Sustainability Leader, Deloitte Malta

Michael Bianchi serves as the Sustainability Leader for Deloitte in Malta and is Chairperson of the Malta Institute of Accountants Sustainable Finance Committee. He possesses over 15 years’ experience in investment management services. He specialises in audits for multinational companies and plays a pivotal role in sustainability initiatives in Malta, including serving as Chair of the Sustainable Finance Committee of the MFSAC.

Ian Coppini – Risk Advisory Leader, Deloitte

Ian leads the Risk Advisory business in Deloitte Malta, a position he has held since 2019 following 18 years working as an audit practitioner within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance business.

In his role as Risk Advisory Leader, Ian serves as engagement director on a broad range of engagements primarily in the areas of regulatory advisory, financial crime advisory, internal audit, 3rd party assurance and risk management advisory.

During his time in Audit & Assurance, Ian served as audit director for a number of public and private entities engaged in a variety of industries specialising in entities operating in the Insurance and Asset Management sectors

Ian acts as the Transport, Hospitality & Services sector delegate and is Deloitte Malta’s Financial Crime offering Leader.

Ylenia Caruana – Senior Manager - Consulting, Deloitte

Ylenia is a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s Consulting practice, specialising in issues relating to sustainability, predominantly in relation to climate and decarbonisation issues. She is qualified in EU studies and stakeholder consultation, and holds an MA and M.Sc. in Mediterranean security and conflict analysis and resolution. Ylenia joined Deloitte in 2022, following 11 years’ service within the public sector, where she served within the environment, climate change and sustainability space. Ylenia has extensive experience acting as Malta’s representative at EU and UN-level meetings relating to environment and sustainability, and even co-chaired Council Working Parties during Malta’s EU Council Presidency of 2017.

Michaela Valletta – Assistant Manager - Audit & Assurance, Deloitte

Michaela Valletta, an Assistant Manager at Deloitte, is a key member of the Assurance Team, specialising in advisory and assurance with a main focus on sustainability. She actively fosters the growth of Deloitte's ESG function whilst also assists clients with CSRD compliance and sustainability strategy. Moreover, she has been invited as a guest lecturer at University of Malta and MCAST on ESG and contributes to the Malta Institute of Accountants, Sustainability Reporting Committee's Education Working Group

Gianluca Busuttil – Senior Manager – Tax, Deloitte

Gianluca is a warranted lawyer forming part of the Tax team at Deloitte Malta, having also completed the Malta Institute of Taxation’s Course on Taxation. His main areas of specialisation are gambling law, AML/CFT law, commercial and corporate law, insolvency law, and data privacy law. Before joining Deloitte Malta in 2019, Gianluca worked at a traditional Maltese law firm for four years.

Since joining Deloitte, Gianluca has provided regulatory advice on a number of high-profile client engagements, including the formulation of regulatory policy and related work in the fields of corporate and insolvency law, and AML/CFT regulation as specifically applicable to gaming operators.

Sandro Psaila – Senior Manager – Audit & Assurance, Deloitte

Sandro graduated in Computer Science and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor since 2007. He has over 20 years’ of practical experience in IT Audit, Information Security, IT Controls and Revenue Assurance. In this period, he formed and led the IT Audit function of a Maltese listed company.

He joined Deloitte Malta in 2016 to lead and manage the IT Audit & Assurance engagements for the International, National and Financial Services clients. Sandro is currently also responsible for the business assurance service offerings and a regular contributor in the Deloitte Global Audit & Assurance Blockchain Community and Audit & Assurance Innovation Network. He has published different papers tackling IT Controls and audit and assurance aspects of the Distributed Ledger Technology.
