Cultivating a post COVID-19 “workplace”
While there was a growing trend towards more remote work, COVID-19 has accelerated that movement, forcing businesses to rely on distributed networks of employees connected only by the strength of their internet connections. When it comes to human capital, family businesses are in a prime position. We know that, compared to other organizations, employees of family businesses are more likely to place trust in their employer. As family businesses look to leverage the trust that they have in this new reality with their employees, they should also consider additional ways in which they can connect with them in order to pave to way to a more seamless transition to the future of work.
