Deloitte Romania experts are pleased to invite you to the seminar "Closing of the year and tax legislative news".

Mihaela Popescu – Director, Corporate and International Tax
Mihaela is Director within the Corporate and International Tax department of Deloitte with more than 10-years of activity as tax advisor. Mihaela has extensive experience in advising clients in domestic and international corporate income tax matters, withholding taxes and local taxes. Her expertise relates in particular to deal/business structuring transactions, tax reviews, due diligence, international tax structuring, M&A and dispute resolution. Along the years, Mihaela has serviced a wide portfolio of domestic and international clients, primarily in the real estate, IT&C, energy and financial services sectors.
Mihaela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the local Chamber of Tax Consultants.
Adrian Teampău – Director, Indirect Tax
Adrian is a Director within the Indirect Tax Department of Deloitte Romania, specialized in consultancy on VAT and environmental matters as well IT automations. Adrian is active in advisory field for over 14 years, delivering various tax projects for multinational companies in manufacturing, automotive, real estate, pharma, retail and consumer goods.
Currently, Adrian concentrates on development and delivery of services on environment matters such as taxes due to the environmental fund, reusable packages, procedures, trainings. Adrian also develops IT applications that automate tax processes with the aim of increasing tax efficiency and reducing tax risks.
Adrian is a member of the working groups of FIC and AmCham Romania, discussing and proposing draft legislation on tax matters. Adrian has a diploma in Economics with the Romanian-American University and is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants.
Ana-Maria Avram – Manager, Transfer Pricing
Ana-Maria is Manager in the tax department of Deloitte Romania, having over 7 years of experience.
Ana-Maria is specialized in transfer pricing, having extensive knowledge about the tax system in Romania and internationally. She has been involved in transfer pricing projects for a large number of companies operating in the financial-banking, production, media, IT and retail sectors, such as: assistance in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, assistance during control fiscal, transfer pricing consultancy and due diligence projects.
Ana-Maria is a graduate of the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchange and obtained a Master's degree in Risk Management and Actuarial, within the same faculty.
Corina Simion - Manager, Corporate Tax
Corina is Tax Manager of the Corporate Tax Department of Deloitte, having an experience of over 5 years in the fiscal area, with a primary focus in corporate and withholding tax. Corina spent the last 5 years specializing in providing tax advice to clients in relation to both local and international taxation regulations, performing various computations of quarterly or annually corporate income tax, completing and filling the corporate income tax returns, participating in due dilligence projects or performing complex research on taxation matters in her area of expertise. Although Corina worked for clients from various industries, such as retail, energy&resources, industrial products, etc., she specialised in assisting clients from the automotive industry.
Corina graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, with both Bachelor and Master degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. She is member of the the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants and is currently following the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) courses.
Elena Roșculeț – Manager, Indirect Tax
Elena is a Manager within the Tax Department of Deloitte Romania, specialized in VAT. With more than 6 years of experience, Elena has been involved in numerous tax review projects, tax consultancy on complex issues, due-diligence, client representation during tax inspections, filing appeals after tax inspections, preparing VAT returns for both local companies and multinationals.
Elena is an experienced tax consultant, member of the Romanian Chamber of Fiscal Consultants and of The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania since 2013.
