Within our portfolio Strategy, Analytics and M&A we help clients in transforming their business through thoughtful analysis and choices about growth, enabling technologies, acquisition and divestiture, and operational strategies powered by advanced technologies. We combine our local industry knowledge and established methodologies with experts from our global network of 300 000 colleagues around the world to provide tailored advisory for our clients.
As a junior management consultant you will have the opportunity to work in one of the following teams.
- Strategic Transformation: We guide executives in the design and execution of enterprise wide, strategy-led business transformations to realize full business value. We help clients define their strategic direction and make key choices both at the level of the whole corporation and for specific business units or geographies and act as a catalyst in making change happen. We consider perspectives on customer development, technology & industry evolution and changing sources of advantage.
- Innovation & Ventures: We co-create with our clients to design new business models for innovative and disruptive growth including acceleration of business and digital strategies through corporate venture capital. We advise clients in innovation strategy from portfolio management to scaling models as well setting up innovation organizations including governance, KPIs, processes, talent and capabilities.
- M&A: We guide our clients with advice and hands on execution support throughout the entire M&A life cycle. We help them to strategize and commercially and operationally assess current and potential assets, as well as how to successfully execute their mergers, divestments and related value creation journeys. Strategic corporate buyers and private equity investors choose us as their trusted advisor due to our proven track record of driving outstanding results end-to end, with the right action for every transaction.
- Analytics & Cognitive: We leverage the power of analytics, robotics, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, create and manage large-scale organizational intelligence, and generate insights that catalyze growth and efficiencies.

Karin Larsson is a management consultant within Innovation&Venture. She has a MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University.
Karin started at Deloitte two years ago and among other things, she has helped clients in exploring new business opportunities, doing market research and finding potential acquisitions to accelerate businesses. As an example, she developed, tested and evaluated a completely new service for one of Sweden’s major retailers. Her tasks included interviews with experts, customers and store managers, analyzing the business potential and coordinating a pilot of the service run both online and in physical stores.
Except for amazing colleagues, the opportunities to grow, being challenged and gradually receiving more responsibility are all contributing reasons why Karin thrives at Deloitte. Working closely in teams with senior colleagues has given Karin the possibility to have a steep learning curve and receive the guidance and support she needs in her daily work.

Oskar Andersson, a Management Consultant within the M&A offering, has worked on several M&A engagements during the last couple of years.
For example, Oskar has been part of a carve-out where Deloitte supported a private equity investor with acquiring and separating a company from the previous owners. Important aspects during the engagement were how to create and capture value from the transaction, as well as how to structure the operating model for a stand-alone state. At the end of the engagement, the acquired company was fully stand-alone with new offices, a new name and brand, new suppliers, and a revised organisational structure. Oskar has also been part of several shorter engagements with the purpose of helping strategic corporate buyers and private equity investors to make informed investment decisions, for example, commercial due diligences, business plan reviews, and similar strategic and operational analyses.
