The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Essentials course is designed in partnership with Enterprise Singapore to help you kickstart your ESG journey. With the support of Deloitte’s global network of experts, the course will provide you with a fundamental understanding and practical tools needed to incorporate ESG principles into your businesses and drive your ESG agenda.
This course is a part of the Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) by Enterprise Singapore, to support Singapore businesses on sustainability initiatives, and to capture new opportunities in the green economy. Learn more about the subsidies, eligibility and process below.
Directors are welcome to attend this prescribed course to fulfil the new Singapore Exchange (SGX) requirements with regard to directors’ training on sustainability.

Course Fees and Registration
Learning Modalities: In-person and virtual sessions
Duration: 16 hours in total, over 4 sessions of 4 hours each
Programme Fees:
- Enterprise Singapore subsidised price: SGD 450*
- Full course price: SGD 1500*
*Fee stated is per participant and excludes prevailing GST, which will be applied on the full price
Enterprise Singapore Subsidy
Subsidy Eligibility Conditions
- Course fee of S$450 (exclusive of GST) per participant is only applicable to local companies1 and trade associations2, up to a maximum of 3 nominated participants per entity.
- Participants must be nominated by their company or trade association for participation in this series of Sustainability Courses3.
- Each individual will only be supported once for each type of ESP-Sustainability Course3.
- The company or organisation is liable to make full payment for the course fees if it or its participants are found to be ineligible or fail to complete the course.
1 Eligible companies need to be a business entity that is registered and operating in Singapore.
2Trade Associations (TACs) will need to fulfil the following criteria: a) registered with Registry of Societies (ROS) or Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA); and b) defined as a non-profit organisation.
3 There are currently three types of ESP-Sustainability Courses: Foundational, Decarbonisation and Sustainable Finance. You may refer here for the list of courses under each course type.
