Deloitte Inspire Award

The Deloitte Inspire Award is for students who have achieved outstanding academic results, and have made an exceptional impact to the community during these unprecedented times, and/or have performed well in their co-curricular activities.

Who is eligible to apply?

Year 1 to Year 3 Accountancy students from SMU, NTU and NUS, who have made outstanding achievements and contributions towards the community. 


What we give students

• Attractive cash prize
• Certificate of Achievement
• An internship opportunity with Deloitte Singapore in either the Audit & Assurance or Tax & Legal division

Applications for Deloitte Inspire Awards are open from till 24 February 2021.

I chose to apply for the Deloitte Inspire Award because I heard about the holistic culture in Deloitte and I wanted to be part of such a firm. I like that the award recognises achievements in both the academic and non-academic areas, which encourages me to continue my pursuit of dance alongside my studies.

My Deloitte internship experience with the Tax department was educational, fun and fulfilling. There were many opportunities that allowed me to grow and hone my technical skills, especially with the help of my seniors who never fail to guide me patiently.

I believe that grades alone does not define a person and there is so much more that we can achieve outside of academics. This award shows that Deloitte recognises my achievements and contributions in sport, something which I am extremely passionate about.

My summer internship was extremely fulfilling. I had the chance to explore the audit industry and Deloitte's friendly working environment allowed me to meet seniors who were extremely patient with me, which aided my learning experience. In addition, there were numerous social events for us to take part in which allowed us to bond as a team and make new friends.

I applied for the Deloitte Inspire Award as I thought that it is really refreshing how an organisation rewards students for their contributions in their co-curricular activities on top of just their academic results. Being a Deloitte Inspire Award winner has definitely affirmed my efforts in pursuing my passions, while juggling my school work.

I had a really enjoyable internship experience with Deloitte. I was not only able to learn more about the Audit profession, but I was also able to forge meaningful friendships!
