An opportunity for 3rd - 4th year university students to uncover your potential and your deep understanding on business, innovation, risk and tax, by working on a challenge case. The winning team will be the representative of Thailand Team to compete with other countries in SEA.

Tax and Risk Case Competition

An opportunity for 3rd - 4th year university students to uncover your potential and your deep understanding on business, innovation and tax, by working on a challenge case. The winning team will be the representative of Thailand Team to compete in South East Asia Tax Challenge and Risk Intelligence Challenge.
 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate students currently studying in the 3rd and 4th year in Thai universities. 
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Economic, Business Management, Law and/or related field. 
  • Participants to compete in a team of 4. Efficient teamwork/communication and knowledge sharing within the team will be key to coming up with a strong ‘team’ for Tax and Innovation case. 
  • Participants are required to participate in the competition on 7-8 February 2019 and 28 February -1 March 2019 in Bangkok.
  • Business cases will be presented in English.

  • Application period Now - 31 January 2019
    6 Finalist teams announcement 4-5 February 2019
    Deloitte Thailand Business Challenge 7-8 February 2019
    SEA Tax Challenge in Bangkok 28 February – 1 March 2019
    SEA Risk Intelligence Challenge July 2019 (TBA)


Prizes and Awards:

  • Best Performance on Tax Award:
    The winning team will receive a certificate of achievement and THB 40,000 scholarship, an internship opportunity with Deloitte Thailand and will represent Thailand (team category) in SEA Tax Challenge in Bangkok on 28 February – 1 March 2019.
  • Rising star Award:
    Individual prize for the best performance will receive THB 10,000 and will represent Thailand (individual category) in SEA Tax Challenge in Bangkok on 28 February – 1 March 2019.
  • Best Performance on Innovation and Risk Award:
    The winning team will receive a certificate of achievement and THB 40,000 scholarship, an internship opportunity with Deloitte Thailand and will represent Thailand in SEA Risk Intelligence Challenge in July 2019 (TBA)


Finalists:

Runner-up teams will receive THB 10,000 award/scholarship and a certificate of achievement.
 

How to apply: 

  • Create a short video clip (3-5 minutes) introducing your team. Each member must be part of the video clip by answering the question : “China and the U.S. trade war: what it means to the Thai economy?”
  • Go to this website, complete an application form and submit a resume, current academic record of each participant and a link to your video clip.
