Chavala Tienpasertkij

Chavala is the Audit & Assurance Leader of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos Audit Co., Ltd. Chavala has more than 30 years of experiences in the audit and accounting profession with industry experience spanning a range of sectors including financial service industry, renewable energy, property and real estate, manufacturing and consumer business. He also gained experience in the past in auditing the companies listed in U.S. during his overseas secondment with Deloitte & Touche, Portland Office in USA. Since June 2016, Chavala was appointed as a Member of SEA Audit & Assurance Executive Committee of Deloitte South East Asia to work with SEA Audit & Assurance Leader to look after the overall audit and assurance business within Deloitte South East Asia which comprises 10 ASEAN countries.

Chavala is a guest speaker on various topics in International and Thai Financial Reporting Standards. Chavala was one of Thai Accounting Standard Text Book Writing Task Force (Accounting for Investments and Disclosures and Presentation for Financial Instruments) for Federal Accounting Professions, Thailand and a consultant of the Development of Material of the CPE Self-Study Curricular (Accounting for Financial Derivatives) for the agreement between Office of Auditor General of Thailand and World Bank. He was a member of a sub-committee of Thai Financial Reporting Standard Setting Committee of Federation of Accounting Professions regarding the updating and monitoring on the changes in IFRS.
