Fines for violation of rules for keeping military registration records increase for business

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine continues to change the mobilization laws.

The Parliament has increased fines for violation of rules for keeping military registration records.

The changes introduced to Article 210-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses entered into force on 19 May 2024.

For violation of laws on defense, mobilization training and mobilization, the heads of companies or persons responsible for keeping military records (if any) may be fined:

Violation type Fine in UAH
First violation  from 17,000 to 25,500
Any recurrent violation within a year, or a violation that the company has been already fined for previously  from 25,500 to 34,000
For violations within a special period (mobilization period, wartime, and partially reconstruction period after the end of hostilities)  from 34,000 to 59,500

 

Violations of laws on defense, mobilization training and mobilization may include, among others, the Company’s failure to:

  1. keep military registration records or keep them with violations;
  2. notify the draftees, conscripts and reservists that they have been called up to Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCR & SS);
  3. ensure that draftees, conscripts and reservists have arrived at the relevant TCR & SS.

The fine may be imposed within three months from the date the violation has been identified, but no later than within one year.
