Information Delivery & Automation

How information is delivered to the intended audience plays a large part in how and when it is used. As data volumes get bigger, computers get faster, and analysis gets more complex, we help and enable employees, partners, and suppliers to collaborate better, work more efficiently, and ultimately make better business decisions through powerful, user-driven enterprise tools. We have the requisite expertise to acquire and cleanse structured and unstructured data in batch, real time and near real time velocity from an array of internal and external sources.

Cutting-edge technologies utilising data stores and repositories enable us to aggregate, enrich, process and efficiently supply clean data for analytical workloads unconstrained by structure. We leverage data discovery and event processing engines to detect patterns that represent business opportunities for analytics from traditional structured data and data streams such as weblogs and sensors. These tools enable the delivery of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytical insights as reports, ad-hoc queries, dashboards for operational and management reporting at enterprise scale, making complex information and data sets understandable through rich visual formats that are insightful and actionable.

Our Information Delivery & Automation offering encompass:

  • Visualisation & Data Discovery
  • Virtualisation & Cloud
  • In-Memory Solutions
  • Data Integration / Ingestion
  • Data Warehousing / Data Lakes

Advanced Analytics

The power of data is in its interpretation. We work with organisations across virtually every industry, in critical parts of their business, to empower data through analytics. Analytics is about applying machine learning, predictive modelling, statistics, and advanced visualisation to data sets with techniques such as predictive modelling, machine learning, and text mining in order to gain actionable insights. Analytics supports decision making in the business domains of customer, supply chain, finance, workforce, and risk.

With Analytics Labs, we facilitate analytics strategy workshops, art-of-the-possible inspiration sessions, and brainstorm sessions powered by the principles of design thinking, using Deloitte’s Greenhouse/HIVE locations.

Our Advanced Analytics offerings encompass:

  • Advanced Visualisation and Rapid Prototypes
  • Natural Language Processing & Text Analytics
  • Content Analytics & Predictive Content Delivery
  • Real-time Decisioning & Streaming
  • Machine Learning Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics

For advanced analytics, we use technologies such as R, SAS, IBM Modeller and Watson, Python and Fluxicon Disco, amongst many others.

Cognitive insight generation often involve complex algorithms which require a deep understanding of the client's business and industry, through segmentation,

360 profile, personalised engagement, predictive analytics, pattern recognition etc. We extract concepts and relationships from various data streams, text sources, and social media to generate new insights and find near real-time answers hidden within a mass of information through cognitive analysis and correlation.

Deloitte unlocks the potential to reshape businesses and entire industries with Cognitive computing. It brings together a host of emerging capabilities to emulate and augment the strength of the human brain. Cognitive automation involves augmenting human intelligence to automate complex knowledge and decision making business processes by “cognitising” high cost, specialist labour-intensive, and repetitive tasks. This enables employees to improve the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of service by seamlessly scanning large amounts of data for answers.

Using cognitive sensing and shaping, we are able to sense data streams, news feeds, and social media to perform intelligent strategy shaping based on Deloitte’s “10 Types of Innovation” framework, as well as identify disruptive trends before they happen by delivering relevant insights to the user based on the continuous, real-time analysis of data.

Our Cognitive offering encompass:

  • Cognitive Engagement
  • Cognitive Automation
  • Cognitive Sensing & Shaping
  • Cognitive Insights

Managed Analytics

Build Capability

Deloitte supports organisational design and develops an Analytics function that creates true value for the business. We help design the right operating model, nurture employees into “Purple People”, and embed the right processes, governance, methodologies and tools.

Managed Services

Outsourcing analytics matches the capabilities and insights offered by leading in-house solutions - but faster and more efficiently. Deloitte offers managed services in several models (e.g. subscription based, outsourced/managed and advisory), including but not limited to: Data as a Service, Platforms as a Service and Insights as a Service.

Data & Content Management

We take a business-driven approach to designing and implementing next generation solutions and processes that support our clients to better manage, protect, share and innovate with their data. We have helped many of the world’s leading organisations design, develop, pilot and operationalise effective enterprise data management (EDM) solutions, as they seek to increasingly use “structured data” to drive automation, advanced analytics and digital capabilities that support their business transformation.

In the ever-expanding digital universe combined with recent advances in technology, organisations can now better harness the value of unstructured data (“content”) from their business, customer, and operational systems. Our enterprise content management (ECM) practice is passionate about helping our clients to develop a highly-productive workforce, delivering intelligent, digitised, content-driven ecosystems that drive efficiency in business processes and translate content into insights for optimised decision making.

Cyber Security

With rapid development of digital technologies the percentage of transactions in the information digital environment is continuously increasing. The world of papers, iron safes and locks remains in the past. Information, as well as financial resources of companies and individuals is transforming into electronic form. Without an adequate level of protection they can become easy target for cyber criminals.

Specialists from Cyber Security will help you with development and implementation of complex solutions, integrating protection and safety of technology, business processes and staff of your company. Industry knowledge, advanced techniques, tools, and experience in international projects allow us to offer flexible solutions for the secure and efficient operation of your company.

We offer a wide range of services and solutions provided to suit individual customer’s needs and maturity of the company. In general we propose the services within the following areas:

  • Penetration testing
  • Vulnerability assessment
  • Cyber security consulting
  • Incident management
  • Cyber assurance

Robotic Process Automation

Robotic Process Automation or ‘robotics’ has the potential to transform today’s workplace as dramatically as the machines of the Industrial Revolution changed the factories and their production lines. The accumulated knowledge and experience in business processes can help with implementing more efficient models and at a lower cost.

The required technology is already available, and it develops in two directions. The first direction is a set of tools for robot-led automation of business processes that is often referred to as the Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This area has been rapidly developing over the past 10 years and now it stands on the threshold of widespread use by business, which could also be implemented within a very short time.

The second one represents Intellectual Automation tools or Cognitive Automation. The tools created using cognitive technology are only gaining momentum and popularity, however they have a great potential and can drive significant transformation processes in the near future.

The RPA tools are already widely used today to improve efficiency of internal operational processes and client processes.
