Deloitte Ride Across Britain
The world of business is tough, but we like a challenge. That’s why we collaborated with Threshold Sports to develop the Deloitte Ride Across Britain - an annual cycling event from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Now attracting over 1,000 riders a year, it draws in both elite riders and those who are new to cycling. In fact, many participants sign up without even owning a bike at the beginning of the year.
Our purpose in action
Across the last decade we have committed to make a positive impact on society through charitable initiatives, fundraising and inspiriting our people. Over the last 10 years, we have seen RAB grow from an idea into a premier UK cycling event and an essential challenge for the cycling enthused. Through this marquee event, we've seen over 5,900 riders take on the ride, collectively raising over £5.5 million for charity.
In addition to our own riders, RAB also attracts hundreds of public riders each year. Not only do riders raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for various charities each year, including Deloitte’s One Million Futures (OMF) programme, but they also benefit personally from an incredible sense of achievement and positive impact on their health and wellbeing.

Whether it is developing a training routine, cycling for the daily commute or making great personal connections in the office, on the bike or at the finish line the stories of RAB’s impact on long term lifestyle changes are both remarkable and many.
Not only do such habits contribute to riders’ health and wellbeing, they also create economic benefits to society as a whole: In 2019, the Deloitte Ride Across Britain raised an amazing £146,000 for our OMF charities.
