Life at Deloitte in Leeds
OUR LOCATIONS
We are the UK’s leading professional services hub outside of London, with a wide range of roles available. Innovation drives everything we do, whether you work in Audit & Assurance, Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, Tax & Legal or Technology & Transformation.
Why join our Leeds office?
Home to some of the UK’s largest brands, including SkyBet, Channel 4, Burberry and PureGym, Leeds is recognised as a place to invest. The National Wealth Fund, Microsoft, Amazon and the Bank of England have all launced offices here, showing just how much the city is growing.
From international sporting events like cycling the Tour de Yorkshire, to fabulous bars, restaurants, theatres and museums, Leeds also has an established food and music scene, with something for everyone. With its diverse neighbourhoods, wide range of shopping districts, as well as annual events and festivals, it’s a fun place to be- no matter what stage you’re at in your career. It’s even home to the longest running West Indian carnival in Europe. Move over Notting Hill, Chapletown Carnival is where it is at.
If you fancy escaping the city, Leeds is the gateway to the magnificent countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. From waterfalls to wild moors, you’ll never get tired of the beautiful scenery.
There are about 500 of us in the office, right in the heart of the city. From here we enjoy the most incredible views. Our open-plan offices are ideal for collaborative working, with private rooms, multi-faith rooms, meeting spaces and social areas available, depending on what you need.
Sustainability
At Deloitte we’re committed to sustainability. As well as installing LED lighting, we also have PIR sensors to ensure lights are off when they’re not being used. Coffee machines are also turned off over the weekend, and we have waste recycling policies in place. Meanwhile we’ve eliminated non-reusable cups in the office and have a popular cycle to work scheme to encourage sustainable travel.
What do our people say?
“Working in a regional office, you really get to know everyone, both in your own team and in other departments. It’s given me the chance to learn about other business areas, helping to develop my own knowledge and expertise. It means I can now advise my clients better by getting them in front of the right specialist. There are so many fantastic businesses in Leeds and Yorkshire and we get to work with some really interesting, international brands. It’s quite a compact city, with something to keep everyone happy. There’s great transport links, both locally and nationally, and it also has an international airport. There are some lovely areas to live in, both in the city and on the outskirts and you are never far away from some beautiful Yorkshire countryside!”
