Caroline Hope

Caroline leads Deloitte's social care consultancy team in the UK. Grounded by her experience in social work she keeps a relentless focus on improving outcomes.

Caroline joined Deloitte after 20 years working in local government as a social worker. Her interest in supporting people who experience multiple levels of disadvantage has been a constant in her career.

Throughout her time with Deloitte she has focussed on improving the experiences of frontline staff and the people who use services by helping organisations make changes in the way they do things. Her experience includes leadership development, innovation, system transformation and service improvement in safeguarding, children’s services, regulation, adult social care and mental health.

Alongside work in care services, Caroline is also focussed on improving wellbeing and mental health. As a part time worker herself, she demonstrates how part time and flexible working at Deloitte supports individual careers, a more inclusive workforce and delivers business value. Outside of Deloitte she is Chair of the Board at YoungMinds, a national mental health charity for children and young people.

Caroline is a passionate advocate of social justice, inclusion and equality and is the UK regional sponsoring partner for Deloitte’s LGBTQ+ network, ‘Proud at Deloitte’.
