Rachael Barber

Rachael is an IP lawyer that specialises in design, trademark and copyright matters. She is a leading light on IP issues facing the luxury, retail and fashion industries and has a wealth of experience in advising clients on their IP and branding strategies.

Rachael is heavily involved in the Deloitte Legal trade mark practice, helping clients create and implement effective global trade mark strategies and portfolios, thus maximising the value in their brands. That advice often sits alongside her work regarding overall IP strategy for her clients.

Rachael is also a co-founder of our AI design right infringement tool, known as Dupe Killer. She works with clients that use Dupe Killer to find copies of their products and then helps those clients to clear the market of copies, thus enhancing the value of their brand, all using smart, patent-pending technology.

She is frequently listed in Chambers, Legal 500 and the World Trade Mark Review as a leading IP practitioner and was part of the team that recently won The Lawyer award for Best Client Service Innovation for Dupe Killer, along with the Luxury Law Summit Award for Luxury Technology Leader.
