Harness the power of transformation
Our Process Excellence teams implement end-to-end processes in one integrated system, supported by coherent data and advanced analytics. As these ERP implementations are large-scale and require a large workforce, clear phases are defined to structure the journey. Those different phases contribute to very diverse daily tasks for a Process Excellence consultant.
At the start of the project, you’ll design a solution which is aligned with the client needs. You’ll gather the business requirements on different processes through client workshops and determine how they match the SAP landscape. This allows you to develop your soft skills and build a relationship with the client. Once the design is clear, the implementation starts with you building the SAP system, enabling you to develop hard skills by navigating the system and developing more technical knowledge on SAP. After setting up the SAP system, you’ll test the solution individually, with other streams (e.g., sales and purchasing), and with the client. You’ll support the client in moving to the new solution and eventually the project will go live, meaning that the client starts working on SAP.
During this end-to-end process, you’ll face different situations and ways of working which allow you to naturally develop yourself and grow as a consultant.
You choose which of our Supply Chain teams you would like to join.
- In SAP Supply Chain, you can become an expert in different sub-modules within ‘Buy, Make, Plan’, smaller sub-modules or the latest SAP technologies.
- In SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), you’ll become an expert in inbound warehouse processes, outbound warehouse processes, internal warehouse processes, production integration and/or warehouse automation, depending on your preferences and projects.
- In SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), you’ll utilise SAP GTS, a global trade management solution, to empower organisations to centralise all their global trade related activities. You’ll combine your passion for technology with logistics processes in an international environment.
- In SAP Transportation Management, you’ll optimise goods movement across all transportation modes. You will enhance supply chain efficiency with integrated planning and real-time data.
- In SAP Cloud Transformation, you’ll follow the public cloud ‘fit-to-standard’ philosophy when implementing SAP for our clients, which leverages business leading practices and change management as part of the software implementation.
How will you grow?
- While becoming proficient in the tools and systems, you’ll also develop your soft skills.
- Gradually, you’ll take on more responsibility and guide younger team members in accomplishing their project tasks.
- As you grow in your job, you’ll become an expert in a functional domain (procurement, sales and distribution, logistics…).
- As you become proficient in combining these various skill sets, you may take on roles such as team lead or project manager.
