What inspires you in your everyday job?

My job is inherently inspired by real-life experiences and people. Empathy drives everything I do and it’s the aspect of my job that gives the most purpose to my career. Over the years, I have developed a particular focus on public sector projects, and knowing that I am contributing to improve the lives of our citizens really inspires me to drive my projects.

What does teamwork mean at DD?

Teamwork at CS&D is embedded in everything we do. You will never be alone on a mission, as everyone relies on each other to make the magic work. Trust between team members is the cornerstone of this, as well as keeping open lines of communication with our teammates.

Can you try to describe CS&D Culture?

I think it's the right mix of business meets casual. A fun place to work with employees who want to be pushed and challenged so they can learn and grow.
We're probably the most creative team at Deloitte, and you can see that in the team events we are regularly having.

How do you manage your work-life balance?

It's more like the opposite for me. "Life-work balance". Life comes first, then I can get work done. Some days, I might focus more on work, while other days, I might have more time to practice my hobbies.

I think balance is achieved over time and not each day. Prioritizing health first will make you a better employee. Unplugging every weekend and during holidays is vital for me.

When do you have the most fun at work?

When conceptualizing, designing then developping new solutions as a team... Then celebrating our success, as a team!

What are the three words that come to your mind when you think about CS&D?

Innovation, well-being, collaboration.

What motivates you to come to work every morning?

Constantly thinking out of the box to come up with new innovative solutions, technologies and design approaches to solve user challenges & improve their (digital) experience.
