Pride is eternal
Inclusion matters. For us, Pride goes beyond one month a year—it’s eternal.
Bringing your authentic self to work isn’t a privilege—it’s a right. We strive to ensure our 2SLGBTQIA+ colleagues feel seen, heard, and empowered to be uniquely themselves.
Pride stories: Unfiltered
The experiences of our people illuminate our path forward.

“Deloitte has given me more than a platform; from Pride panels to heartfelt chats, it’s a space to link arms and walk our journeys together.”
Sam
“Opening up to people around you matters—it helps them understand how to be there for you. I’m lucky to have met leaders at Deloitte who helped me find a place where I can feel safe being my authentic self.”
Antoinette
“Words hold power, and Deloitte has always made me feel like I have the space to define myself, share my truth, and decide when and how to open up—on my terms.”
Exhibiting allyship and advocacy
In helping our 2SLGBTQIA+ people thrive, we drive a plethora of initiatives around policy, talent, community collaborations, social events, education, and more.
Mentorship
Our internal Pride Mentorship Program actively connects 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals with senior leadership to support and empower folks in bringing their whole selves to work and reaching their maximum potential. The option for reverse mentorship is also available.
Gender-affirming benefits and policies
On June 1, 2022, Deloitte launched firm-funded health care benefits for trans identifying employees (as well as dependents and spouses) valued at $100K to support gender-affirmation needs. This is coupled with our refreshed Gender Affirmation Guidelines for leaders and colleagues.
Allyship training
With a focus on removing barriers for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community (and beyond), we mandate in-person allyship training for leaders and virtual training for all other employees.
Interactive panels
Across a variety of topics, we engage with leaders and co-workers throughout the year to celebrate, support the community, and educate allies. Recurring themes include International Day of Pink, Transgender Day of Remembrance, understanding pronouns, Pride season, and coming out stories.
Community engagement
We’re committed to showing up for our Pride community not only within our own walls, but within the communities we serve as well.
Here are a handful of examples:
Pride at Work Canada
As a proud collaborator of Pride at Work Canada, we work with its team to establish a safer, more inclusive workplace that recognizes the skills of 2SLGBTQIA+ talent.
Rainbow Railroad
Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit aiming to protect and relocate at-risk 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. We host fundraisers and offer hands-on support work to help scale its impact.
The Get REAL Movement
From online workshops to in-person career fairs, we work with Get REAL to provide role models for the younger folks in our 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Start Proud
