Q3 2018 Canadian IPO Market Review

Subdued IPO volume trends continued in Canada, with only one new issuer completing its IPO during the third quarter. South of the border, the story was very different: IPO markets saw the busiest August since 2013, with 10 IPOs being priced. Furthermore, it’s expected 2018 will be the best year for US IPOs since 2014, exceeding the annual average since 2000 by 25%.
