Allan Benson

Allan is a consulting director in our Core Business Operations practice focusing on government and public sector clients, specifically the Government of Canada and Department of National Defence. With 30+ years of experience delivering successful support programs for the department and the Canadian Armed Forces, he is skilled in leading and innovating in major program delivery, business transformation, SAP S/4HANA implementation, and logistics support for their global operations. He has led logistic operations in Afghanistan and Bosnia-Herzegovina. His logistics experience includes supply and multi-modal distribution, in theatre and internationally, and equipment maintenance and contracting services. Allan has significant experience in leading large programs and asset management, including as lead of the Canadian Armed Forces Land Equipment Program, where he led a team of more than 1,500 personnel in procuring and supporting the equipment of the Canadian Army and Special Operations Force Command. He also led the Canadian Armed Forces/Department of National Defence SAP transformation to S/4HANA while serving as chair of the SAP Defence Interest Group.
