Dean Hillier is the National Consulting Leader for consumer industries. He has been consulting to senior retailers, the food retail industry in particular, for more than 25 years, with a focus on business transformation, operations, and merchandising. His strong background in consulting has led to extensive experience in orchestrating large-scale change for clients such as Tesco, Coles, Best Buy, Ann Taylor, Hudson’s Bay, Kroger, and Target. Dean’s areas of proficiency include merchandising and operating model enhancements, the future consumer, cost transformation (including procurement), and business strategy. Before joining Deloitte, Dean spent 17 years with management consultancy A.T. Kearney, including as president of A.T. Kearney Canada and leading their global consumer and retail practice. His career has taken him to Australia, Asia, Europe, as well as extensive travel in the United States.
