Ian Chan

Ian is based in our Toronto office and has over 20 years of industry experience disrupting the Financial Services industry and is a member of Deloitte’s Global Innovation Executive.

Ian is Head of Disruption & Exponentials for Deloitte Canada’s Innovation practice, exploring current and emerging concepts to help organizations evolve with the pace of change. He is at the center of the Innovation Partnership Program (IPP), an alliance with the XPRIZE think tank committed to radical approaches to creating new industries, and Singularity University, which educates leaders in applying exponential technologies to create and support sustainable organizations.

Ian is currently researching the topic of Exponential Organizations with Fortune 500 companies and governments using 4 main exponentials (AI, Blockchain, IOT and crowdsourcing). His focus: reducing the time it takes from ‘idea’ to ‘production’ and how these exponentials impact the industry incumbents.
