Jolain Foster

Jolain Foster is Gitxsan and Wet'suet'en and belongs to Wilps Niisto. In the last two decades, Jolain has gained leadership experience working with Indigenous peoples across Canada in various private sector firms, educational institutions, and First Nation organizations. Her diverse experience ranges from leadership, strategic planning, governance and operations, to Indigenous engagement and financial management. Jolain is a natural facilitator between Indigenous communities, government agencies, and industry. In her most recent experience with Golder Associates Ltd., she not only developed their first National Indigenous Relations strategy and work plans, but she also created their first major Indigenous Participation Plans for various national pipeline companies, and facilitated the development of an Indigenous environmental partnership with an Alberta First Nation.
