A clean technology executive with more than 20 years of global experience, Karen specializes in the deployment of clean transportation technologies and policy/regulatory frameworks to enable growth, scale, and market leadership position. She has held executive positions related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting, corporate strategy, market creation and development, and external communications.
Appointed to the Government of Canada’s Industry Strategy Council and named chair of the Clean Technology Economic Strategy Table in June 2020, Karen has advised cabinet ministers, deputy ministers, and senior staff on accelerating the deployment of cleantech, scaling Canadian companies, and ensuring Canada’s global competitiveness in a net-zero economy.
