Katie Rogers

Katie is a partner in Deloitte’s Tax & Legal practice, leading the Atlantic Tax & Legal team, as well as the Government & Public Services National Tax team. She has over 16 years of experience working with Atlantic Canada’s largest privately held companies and their owners, in addition to public companies, public sector entities, and small-medium private enterprises. Her experience includes working on corporate reorganizations, shareholder planning, comprehensive owner and family wealth planning, and estate and succession planning. She helps clients comply with their tax filing obligations and tax accounting requirements, assisting them in dealing with tax audits. Katie works with clients in all industries, including manufacturing and processing, oil and gas, construction, and the public sector, as well as several large multinational entities.

Katie is a co-founder and leader of the Atlantic Tax Executive Forum, a member-based forum for tax executives from Atlantic Canada’s largest companies. She has developed and delivered many tax learning courses and has been a tutorial leader for Chartered Professional Accounts (CPA) Canada’s in-depth tax program. She has also presented at PD sessions for CPA New Brunswick.
