Lisa Weatherbed

Lisa is a Partner and Senior Managing Director in our Corporate Finance group, specializing in financing and growth for mid-market clients. She is also the Wealth Management and Family Office sector lead for Financial Advisory.

Prior to joining Deloitte, she was a Vice President at BlackRock, where she had two mandates: to develop investment distribution relationships with Canadian banks, pensions, and insurance companies and as part of the Aladdin for Wealth Business Development Team.

Prior to BlackRock, she worked at BMO in various wealth lines of business including its Private Bank, with a mandate that included developing multiyear growth strategies. As Head of Investment Sales & Distribution, she was accountable for leading the development and execution of strategies to achieve sales growth across all retail investment products in BMO P&C Canada, with a focus on mass affluent and affluent clients. Additionally, she was part of the team that launched BMO Smartfolio, making BMO the first Canadian bank to launch a robo-advisory service.

She also spent five years in BMO’s Corporate Finance group on its Diversified Industries team, where she focused on providing senior debt, ABL, and sub debt facilities to large mid-market companies, private equity, and infrastructure projects.  

Lisa has deep, multifaceted experience in banking, credit, wealth, asset management, and distribution strategy. She has an MBA from Kellogg-Schulich, a joint program between Northwestern University and York University.
