Mario El-Khoury
Partner, Financial Advisory Services
Mario is a partner and National Service line leader of the Data, Analytics, and Modelling practice at Deloitte. He also leads the Financial Engineering and Financial instruments group within Deloitte Canada.
He specializes in advising financial institutions and corporate treasuries on valuation and risk management issues. His specific area of expertise includes implementation and validation of valuation and risk measurement models required in financial institutions and treasuries dealing with capital, financial risk, structured products, and complex financial instruments. He consulted and audited the risk and valuation models currently used by the largest financial institutions in Canada.
Mario attended executive training courses in Risk Management at the Kellogg’s School of Business (Northwestern University). He holds a Master of Science in Finance and the Financial Risk Manager(FRM) designation. Mario is also a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and the Professional Risk Managers' International Organization (PRMIA).
