Matthew Garnier

Matthew is a Partner in the Actuarial & Insurance Solutions group in Toronto where he specializes in IFRS 17 implementation projects and is the global actuarial lead for the audit of Great-West LifeCo. He is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries with over 15 years of experience. Prior to recently joining Deloitte, Matthew spent over 10 years with Manulife Financial where he held a variety of leadership roles in financial reporting (IFRS), product pricing & development, asset liability management and the development of economic capital.
