Peter Sozou

Peter is the Business Managing Partner, Strategy, Risk & Transactions in Canada and Chile which includes the Strategy, M&A & Transactions, and Risk Regulatory and Forensics portfolios. Prior to this role, Peter served as the Business Managing Partner for Financial Advisory (2023), the National M&A Advisory Leader (2019-2023), and the Transactions Services National Leader (2016-2019).

Peter has over 27 years of professional and financial services experience which includes business development roles, risk management roles, and more traditional merger and acquisition advisory and assurance roles. During his time with our firm, Peter has worked for strategic and private equity clients across a broad range of industries which include business services, transportation and logistics, distribution services, route-based businesses, retail pharmacy, financial services, IT and software service providers. Peter’s key roles and responsibilities in the business include advising strategic and private equity clients with respect to deal sourcing and execution.
