Tim Fahey | CPA, CA

Tim Fahey is a Partner in Deloitte’s St. John’s Audit and Assurance practice and the Managing Partner for Newfoundland and Labrador. As the Managing Partner, Tim manages marketplace activities and brand throughout the region, working closely with the firm’s people to serve our Newfoundland and Labrador clients. The Newfoundland and Labrador practice includes approximately 75 professionals in audit, tax, consulting, risk and financial advisory. In his Managing Partner role, Tim also serves on Deloitte’s Atlantic Canada Leadership Team.

Tim has over 20 years of professional service firm experience in helping clients with their audit, assurance and advisory needs. Tim has served numerous large and complex private company groups in construction, transportation, and oil and gas sectors within Newfoundland and Labrador. He has also served public companies and public sector entities.

He has held leadership roles guiding large teams through execution of all work types for large, complex engagements, and served as Lead Engagement Partner on a number of public company and large private engagements reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards. Tim has also served as Lead Engagement Partner on a number of public sector audit and advisory engagements reporting under Public Sector Accounting Standards and served as Lead Engagement Partner on numerous outsourcing arrangements for public and private companies.

In the community, he is the Chair of Waypoints, and holds CPA, CA and Certified Coach training certifications, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) from Memorial University.
