Canton of Zurich

The Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich (Office of Elementary Education) decided to digitise processes and to establish an online portal for the school districts of Zurich. Deloitte fully supported this project.

The project went by the name PULS Avanti and was developed in close cooperation with the Staff Association of Zurich School Administrations (VPZS) to enable school districts to access the personnel and payroll administration systems of the Canton of Zurich.

After several months of work led by Deloitte teams, the two hundred school districts have now the opportunity to create seamlessly monthly invoices, data requests, one-time on-site allowance payments, and data analyses, via an online dedicated portal. Data input and resource-planning operations can also be administered directly via this modern solution.
