Deloitte and CIMC commenced ERP Project and Strategic Cooperation

On 8 January, Deloitte and China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd. ("CIMC") co-hosted a ceremony to kick-off an ERP Implementation Project and sign a strategic agreement for strengthening the management and operation capabilities of CIMC as a leading supplier of logistics and energy equipment headquartered in Shenzhen China.

Both parties reached a consensus on different aspects of cooperation, including strategic business development and opportunities, strategy implementation, advanced technology and innovation, ERP project and management transformation, as well as talent structure development. The ultimate goal is to create value for CIMC by helping it elevate its capabilities in business management and operations, achieve strategic transformation and expand its service reach into the realm of smart manufacturing.

At the ceremony, Deloitte China CEO Patrick Tsang delivered a speech celebrating the longstanding relationship between Deloitte and CIMC. He commended CIMC for being an exemplary representative of a Chinese enterprise 'going global', and for putting into practice the strategy of 'transform and elevate to achieve quality growth'. Patrick concluded the speech with an aspiration for both firms to continue upholding a close working relationship.

In addition to expressing his enthusiastic support for the Deloitte team, Mr Mai Boliang, CIMC CEO & President, also stated his vision for both teams to cooperate, focusing on results and good leadership in the course of collaboration.

Around 100 guests were present at the ceremony to witness the beginning of a new collaboration, in which Deloitte China is helping another well-respected Chinese state-owned enterprise manage its worldwide business on its path to globalization.
