First of its kind - from startup to listed company

The Danish sports and media company Astralis Group is behind the world-famous Counter-Strike team Astralis. The group was listed on the stock exchange in December 2019 and was a prospect process where we had the pleasure of assisting with the prospectus, providing tax advice and contributing to a temporary accounting function in Astralis Group's journey from start-up to listed company.

Astralis Group had previously been part of the group RFRSH Entertainment, from which the team and media part in the summer of 2019 was purchased free of two founders and a number of investors. After it was decided to list the company, we were included in the journey with the goal of listing on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market - as the first IPO with a new set of rules and simpler prospectus requirements. The purpose of this IPO was to strengthen Astralis Group's international position through further investments in their brands and media business to ensure continued growth, winning teams, and broadly embracing, international media platforms.

The practice was to perform a complex but fast IPO for a - at that time - relatively small, growing business. As One Deloitte, we assisted with a wide range of services, including tax advice, partly in the area of corporate tax and the establishment of a warrant program, final audit of individual accounts for the prospectus, as well as performing a temporary accounting function.

We are very honored to have been part of this journey for the Astralis Group by assisting with a fast and agile IPO. Astralis Group's IPO is just the start of a new trend with e-sports as an investment object in a global growth industry.
