Bank establishment with a peace of mind

Facit Bank A/S is owned by Niels Thorborg, who also owns the 3C Retail Group, which is specialized in purchasing and financing of a wide range of products in the Nordic region.

3C Retail had a goal of establishing a new bank in Denmark for private customers. Our collaboration was initiated when 3C Retail wanted assistance and advice in the process of preparing an application for banking authorization to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.

We have advised the group in the application process for banking authorization, which included, among other things, advice on the requirements in accordance with financial legislation, capital requirements, IT set-up, policies and procedures, and organization in the company and the group.

Facit Bank was granted bank authorization in August 2019 and the bank opened in late 2019.
