Roskilde Festival - Northern Europe's largest music festival - opened its doors in 1971 to an annual festival with 130,000 visitors from all over the world.
Roskilde Festival began a collaboration with Deloitte Pension Management in March 2019, wishing for a scheme with a greater focus on sustainability and a better advisory setup.
Roskilde Festival also wanted sparring and advice in this area, so that they could better understand the complexity associated with their pension scheme. As an initial part of our collaboration, we conducted an analysis of Roskilde Festival's pension scheme, to investigate whether a more optimal scheme could be made. Based on the analysis, we found that the scheme was not optimal and therefore Roskilde Festival decided to put the scheme into tender.
The offer resulted in Roskilde Festival getting a unique scheme in combination with both insurance and banking. The new scheme resulted in significantly lower prices and costs, as well as a unique and sustainable investment product.
