Every. Thing. Connected.
New study on the Internet of Things among Danish companies
How far have Danish companies taken the Internet of Things?
What is holding them back?
How can they get started with the Internet of Things?
These are some of the questions that a new report – the first of its kind – answers about Danish companies’ adoption of the Internet of Things.
Three of four Danish companies expect that the Internet of Things will transform their industry within three years, but fewer companies than abroad have started Internet of Things initiatives. Lack of understanding among top management, difficulties with translating it into a value capture in the companies’ specific contexts and paralysation in the face of a substantial change process are among the factors that hold back value creation.
To get started with the Internet of Things it is recommended to establish dedicated leadership, create adoption plan, evaluate value capture and explore partnerships.
