Residence cards for third-country family members to EU citizens with permanent residence
SIRI informs that third-country family members to EU citizens with permanent residence permit must replace their residence cards. The reason for the replacement is for the residence cards to live up to the new security requirements.
SIRI states that third-country family members will not lose their residence permits, if the card is not replaced, but there is a risk that issues can occur if the card is needed for identification or upon entry to Denmark.
