Deloitte Legal advised MiddleCap on the acquisition of three real estate companies in Berlin

A multidisciplinary cross-location Deloitte team led by Berlin real estate partner Dr. Katja Schwenzfeier and Hamburg corporate/M&A partner Dr. Volker Schulenburg (both Legal) and tax partner Dr. Michael Maßbaum has advised MiddleCap on its joint acquisition with a cooperation partner of all business shares in three real estate companies in Berlin.

Deloitte provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to MiddleCap on the transaction by way of a share deal. Due to the interdisciplinary cooperation of the advisors of Deloitte Legal with Deloitte experts from the Tax department, the transaction could be carried out efficiently and successfully in the shortest possible time with the help of this "one stop shop" approach.

All of the real estate is located in Berlin. MiddleCap plans to redevelop the respective area with a mix of commercial and residential use.

This is MiddleCap's first acquisition in the German market, further acquisitions are planned. MiddleCap is a recognised investment and advisory firm with headquarters in Luxembourg and offices in London, Bratislava, Prague and Berlin.
