With his outstanding experience, especially in the area of portfolio transactions, and as a proven finance lawyer, he rounds off our expertise and opens up new advisory dimensions for us. Additionally, his decades of activity as an author along with his participation in associations and committees also show his seasoned experience the advisory side but also his thoroughgoing understanding and contribution to the professional discourse in financial law."

Andreas Jentgens, Managing Partner of Deloitte Legal, adds: "With his expertise and experience in advising investors, Simon Grieser expands our advisory offering beyond the banking sector. For us, the fact that we were able to attract him to Deloitte Legal just shows how attractive we are as a target firm for outstanding lawyers.”

Commenting on his motivation for the move, Simon Grieser says: "What attracts me to Deloitte Legal is the dynamic environment with its strong service lines, the cross-divisional work, the firm’s technical and digital orientation, the comprehensive networking in all business areas, its internationality and, last but not least, the ambition of my future partners to further expand our advisory services in the best interests of our clients. I am very much looking forward to being part of this."
