Dr. Nikolai Wessendorf

Dr. Nikolai Wessendorf joined Deloitte Legal as Of Counsel in 2019 and advises in the service line Digital Law on digitalization, data protection and the implementation of Legal Tech solutions.
Nikolai supports national and international companies, start-ups and emerging companies in digital transformation, the development of digital business models as well as data protection. In addition to his specialization in information technology and data protection law, Nikolai has several years of experience in legal project management and the establishment of legally relevant corporate structures for start-ups. One focus is advising on digital sales (in particular in the insurance sector), data-driven business models and Big Data.
Before joining Deloitte, Nikolai worked as a lawyer in a leading law firm in Munich, where his responsibilities included the establishment of a start-up and innovation hub.
He is fluent in German and English.
