Takashi advises both international and domestic clients on day-to-day corporate matters and on large-scale M&A transactions (including equity financing and complex reorganisations). Clients admire his intimate knowledge of their companies, particularly when it comes to post-transaction integration.
His recent experience includes:
- Advising numerous clients on various M&A structuring schemes, at a stage where clients do not usually engage lawyers
- Advising on all aspects of large-scale cross-border and domestic M&A transactions from initial bids to negotiating the definitive documents
- Advising on regulations and procedures under the Japanese Companies Act, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, stock exchange-related rules and other related laws and regulations (including disclosure regulations, tender offer regulations, insider-trading regulations and foreign exchange regulations)
- Advising on various finance-related transactions, including liquidation of real estate entities
- Advising on regulations relating to anti-money laundering
- Advising on anti-trust/competition law issues
