Emi has a vast experience in providing the international tax advice on cross-border transactions, business reorganizations, and global tax planning to Japanese multi-national companies during her service in New York, Honolulu, Chicago, London, and Japan over 19 years.
Emi joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co., Japan in 2015 has been playing a global lead client service role for a number of large Japanese multi-national companies in which industries include industry products, trading house, and life sciences etc. In addition to a client service role, she also played a deputy leader of Japanese Services Group Global Tax Network as well as a national leader for Clients & Industries Japan Tax & Legal and led the client–focus programs and built the global Tax & Legal strategies.

Throughout her career, Emi also enjoys serving her privately-own Japanese companies, where she advises not only on the corporate tax matters but also on the owner's tax issues and the family business succession.
