After engaging in auditing at Tohmatsu & Co. (currently Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC), Mitsutoshi Sato was seconded and later transferred to Tohmatsu Tax Co. (currently Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co.), where he was responsible for tax consulting, tax compliance and M&A services for Japanese multinational corporations and foreign companies.
From April 2014 to March 2017, he was seconded to Deloitte Germany Dusseldorf office to provide Japanese multinational companies operating in Europe with international tax advisory services.
Currently, he is engaged in structuring of schemes related to cross-border M&A in particular, tax due diligence services, and international tax consulting services including the global minimum tax (Pillar Two).
