Takashi joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co. (former Tohmatsu Tax Co.) in 2008 after working for about 3 years at a middle-sized tax firm. He has a range of experiences, including providing listed companies with advice on international taxation, business succession, etc.
He worked for about 2 years from July 2017 in Singapore to serve Japanese companies and Japanese high-net-worth individuals in the country as their tax advisor and coordinator. In FY2021 he conducted investigations on both Japanese and international tax systems and governance for METI and gave lectures to support overseas business expansion at workshops and online seminars.
Now he engages in international tax structuring, due diligence for M&A, and business succession involving international property tax. While collaborating with business succession funds and financial institutions, he widely handles sourcing support activities for business succession to non-family members at owner-operator companies, and he is highly rated for advice on a range of taxes including asset, corporate and transfer taxes.
